What GMMA Academy Stands For?
GMMA stands for Gurumu Mix Martial Arts. We specialise in Thaiboxing [Muaythai] and Gukwoone [Gukwoone, a new martial art system that incorporates techniques from Taekwondo, MuayThai, Ju-Jitsu and Okinawan Kobudo (Kobudo:Weapons-Bo Stick /Escrima/Tonfa/ Sai/Nanchaku)].
The overall ultimate objective of Gmma academy is to cultivate a disciplined mind, body and spirit along promoting health and wellbeing. Today, the Gmma Academy is a organization which creates ability to empower anyone — regardless of age, gender, or athletic ability. Gmma aimed at preserving and perpetuating the complete Gmma curriculum, in its purest form. We transform our academy into dynamic environments for principles of street applicability, energy, efficiency, creativity, focus, and natural body movements.
What we do?
We specialise in Martial arts and other Health and Fitness activities for adults and children. We teach GuruMuayThai (Thaiboxing classes for youths & adults) and Gukwoone Martial arts where we welcome everyone with starting age 3 years old + Our classes are taking place in various London locations: Shepherd’s Bush – Southall . We work in association with “AEM Health and Fitness” which specializes in healthy nutrition programs for children TransformKids and other fitness classes for children such as Konga Kids and Kidz Hop. Together we are promoting health and wellbeing for children and their families. We are also proud member of “British Sports Youth Trust” who help children, young people and families – especially disadvantaged children – access Sports Activities in England, particularly in London

Gukwoone Martial Arts incorporate techniques from Taekwondo, MuayThai, Ju-Jitsu, and Okinawan Kobudo (Kobudo weapons: Bo sticks, escrima, tonfa, sai, nunchaku). Gukwoone Martial Arts classes are currently taking place in West London area of Southall, borough of Ealing. Classes are separated in two groups: 3 to 11 years old (or below green belts), senior students, 11 years old and above

We combine powerful techniques of “Muay Thai” and beautiful style of “Muay Boran”, with blend of other striking techniques as Western boxing, K1, taekwondo.
